Helmets R Us is family owned and operated business.
We started making novelty helmets in 1992 in the Daytona Beach area. At that time there were less than a dozen novelty helmet shops in all of the US and they were all in Florida. Those few shops supplied the world with novelty helmets.
Like any good thing they were eventually copied and manufactured overseas.
Due to lower labor and material costs, we could not compete with overseas manufacturers. One by one the local fiberglass shops couldn't survive and were forced to shut down.
In 1998 the HelmetsRus web site was created.
At first we only sold USA made novelty helmets that we made and a lot of good quality airbrushed and even custom airbrushed novelty helmets.
Eventually we started offering name brand motorcycle helmets on our web site.
We don't have a multi-line telephone answering system.

One very common error is when an incorrect email address
is entered on an order. If you placed an order with us and did not get a confirmation
by email your email address may have been entered wrong.
The most common reason for a denied credit card is a wrong expiration date,

For order status, first check your email for a shipping confirmation. If one is not there it means your order has not shipped yet. Give us a few days to process your order before calling or emailing us. Most orders go out within seven days. If it is going to take more than 10 days to ship your order we will contact you via email.
It is not necessary to call us to ask how to return an item. Just send a copy of your invoice and tell us if you want to exchange or refund.
